1. 2024-08-21

Fixed a bug wherein an overnight activity that starts on one day and goes into the next might not show up on the next day's schedule, leading to errors when someone tries to make an overlapping activity.

  • Now admins can block off hours, preventing adorers from volunteering for certain hours. This could be useful, for example, for when a chapel is not perpetual, or on Good Friday, or on days when the chapel needs maintenance. Admins can set or remove these hours on the Schedule page, similarly to other activities, using the "Block Off Hours" button.
  • Some additional time fixes that were causing certain activity buttons to fail depending on the page they were clicked.

3. 2024-07-12

A substantial update that effects how time is managed in Adore24.
  • Now, instead of having one-time activities and weekly commitments, all activities can be repeated or not, for an indefinite or finite number of times from a beginning date.
  • We have also included additional tools on the adoration, schedule, and activity pages to help one request substitutes, "pause a commitment" for a period of time, "end" a repeated weekly commitment on today's date, and adjust the beginning and ending dates for a repeated commitment.
  • All commitments have been converted to indefinitely continuing weekly activities.
A substantial UI update. The UI elements are generally arranged the same way, but we add modal dialogs, additional tooltips, and mobie-UI adjustments so that it is more clear what is happening on any given page.
